Voice Kit (FW-V10s)

FW-V10s voice kit is a stand-alone hardware kit to deliver real time full duplex voice along with streamed JPEG image over the TCP/IP network when it is connected to FlexWATCH™ network camera or video server.

Only FW-Voyager program is required to hear and talk over the TCP/IP network. Simply connect it to FlexWATCH™ system and run web browser and view, hear and talk over the TCP/IP network such as telephone line, LAN, Cable modem and xDSL. Bell sounds from the built-in speaker enables you to recognize voice kit connection from the outside and you can immediately response to the call request.

With addition of voice module to FlexWATCH™ Network camera and video server based remote video monitoring solution, you can easily extend your security needs from Simple Viewing to hear and talk over the TCP/IP network at anytime and anywhere.

Key Features

Easy installation and configurations
Simply connect it to FlexWATCH™ network camera through RS-232 cable and configure voice option in the FlexWATCH™ server.

Works on MS Internet Explorer
Once configuration is done, simply run your web browser, view live video, hear & talk through FW-Voyager mode.

Two way communication & Bell Sound
It supports full duplex voice communication which means that you can talk while you are hearing. It is like a normal telephone communication. Bell sound option is provided. Thus, you can enable or disable Bell sound when connection is made to your voice kit.

Low bandwidth requirement (5K Bps)
Unlike other Voice Codec, it use G.723.1 international standard voice Codec which theoretically requires 5k bps of low bandwidth and has been widely used in Voice over IP system. Realistically it consumes less than 16k bps of bandwidth which means you can get clear Voice even under low bandwidth of internet line along with Video

External speaker and microphone interface
Through External microphone and speaker connected to FW-V10, you can hear and talk over the TCP/IP network.

Application

FW-V10 enables you to add Voice capability to your visual remote monitoring over the TCP/IP network. It can be placed anywhere together with FlexWATCH™ network camera or video server series as long as you want to view, hear & talk. Major applications are as follow.
